Your enquiry stays a conversation.
This notice explains how information is handled when you visit meetjulie.org or contact us through the website.
Who is responsible
Tamás Constantin is the data controller, acting as a private individual in Hungary. You can contact him through the contact form or by replying to correspondence you receive from him.
What you choose to send
The contact form asks for your name and email address so that we can reply. Your institution, role and message are optional. Please do not send patient information, medical records or other sensitive personal data.
Your details are used to read and answer your enquiry. They are not used for a mailing list, advertising, profiling or automated decisions. Processing your enquiry is based on the consent you give when submitting the form, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Hosting, delivery and security
The website is hosted by Tárhely.Eu in Hungary. Hosting and email service providers process the information needed to operate the website and deliver correspondence. They receive it for those purposes; it is not sold or shared for marketing.
The website does not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers or remotely loaded fonts. When you use the contact form, an essential session cookie helps protect your submission. It expires at the end of the browser session. When a short news notice has been shown, your browser keeps a small note in its own storage so that the notice is not shown again; it contains nothing about you, is never sent to us, and is not used for tracking. Technical security information, including server access logs and pseudonymous rate-limit counters, helps prevent abuse. That processing is based on the legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
We count visits from the hosting server’s own access logs. Each request to the website is logged by the server with its IP address, time, the page requested and the browser’s self-description, and the hosting provider’s statistics tool turns these into summary figures: visits per day, pages viewed, countries and browser types. No cookie or tracking code is involved, and nothing is passed to an analytics provider. We use the figures only to see whether the website is read and to keep it working; the legal basis is that legitimate interest, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. You can object to it, as described below.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are deleted when the correspondence is closed or after twelve months, whichever comes first. Short-lived form sessions and rate-limit counters are used separately from correspondence. Hosting logs and backup copies follow the service providers' retention arrangements and are not used for marketing.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, request restriction or portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Use the contact form or reply to our correspondence to make a request. We may need to confirm that the request relates to your information before acting on it. If you withdraw consent, we will stop using your details to continue the enquiry.
You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. In Hungary this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).
